Year 2
Our 2nd year of retirement began July 1 in Lake George NY followed by NYC, Gettysburg and a FMCA Tiffin Travelers Rally in Lancaster PA. Lancaster brought the end to our 2011 East Coast Tour as we buckled in for some long distance driving back to Kansas City, MO and from there to Creede, CO where our 2011 Wild West Tour begins! After Creede we headed north to our home state of South Dakota.

I confess I did not realize how beautiful South Dakota is... We will definitely be back. We stayed outside Custer State Park & made day trips to Mt Rushmore, The Badlands & Wind Caves. We saw a ton of buffalo and had a great time! From Custer we went west to the Escapees Rally in Gillette, WY then on to more sightseeing & ATVing west of Yellowstone. By now it was mid-September & time for the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree in Richfield UT followed by Moab UT.
After Moab we realized we had seen so much beautiful scenery that we no longer appreciated it so we postponed Grand Canyon for another day & went to the FMCA Rocky Mountain Spooktacular in Farmington NM instead. The final stop of our Wild West Tour was Bluff, UT, beautiful country much like Moab but still undeveloped.
Our final tour for 2011 we affectionately call the Family Feud...
